CGA Belgrade 2025 Welcomes Young Creators from Balkans

This year, CGA Belgrade isn’t just about the latest tech, industry trends, and jaw-dropping visuals; it’s about real impact. We’re putting a special focus on females and young creators in Serbia and Montenegro, and together with Dom omladine Beograd (Belgrade Youth Center) and ART 365 from Podgorica, we are working to build a more stable, opportunity-rich environment where talent thrives.

That’s why we’re proud to introduce Creative Moxie: Catalyst for Creative Revolution, a program supported by the European Union that’s all about empowering and elevating the creative industries in our region. By directly engaging with the community and addressing its biggest challenges, Creative Moxie is paving the way for lasting change.

Collaboration That Sparks Change

This initiative brings together three key events:

🔹 CGA Belgrade Conference – the region’s leading event for computer graphics, animation, and VFX
🔹 Martovski Festival  – a showcase of film, documentary, and short-form storytelling
🔹 CIM Forum  – a creative hub for independent filmmakers and digital artists

Together, these events are working to enhance program content, foster knowledge exchange, and strengthen festival and conference networks. Most importantly, they’re creating new opportunities for the next generation of young creators by providing a platform for visibility, skill-building, and industry connections.

CGA has always been about bringing together top talent and emerging voices, and this year is no different. With panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities, the conference will serve as a key platform for Creative Moxie and young creators. Expect sessions designed to give young professionals and creatives access to industry leaders, with a focus on career growth, visibility, and practical skills to help them navigate the creative world.

A Bigger Vision for the Region

This initiative is part of the Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans (CC4WBs) project, funded by the European Union. The project focuses on fostering regional dialogue by strengthening cultural and creative sectors to increase their socio-economic impact. Over a 48-month period, it aims to enhance knowledge, skills, and access to financial support to boost competitiveness, sustain co-productions, and encourage the exchange of creative goods and services across the Western Balkans.
