An Invitation to the Unknown – CGA 2025’s ‘Untitled’ Theme

Get ready, because the Computer Graphics and Arts Conference (CGA)  is back in Belgrade  April 10-11, 2025, and this year’s theme is all about embracing the unknown. We call it untitled because sometimes the most meaningful experiences don’t need a label, just an open mind.

So, why Untitled as a conference theme in 2025? 

After years of booming growth and new tech shaking up every corner of the entertainment industry, we’re in a whole new world of possibilities. It’s like we’ve sailed right off the map of what’s familiar and are now charting our own course in the unknown. 

The founders of CGA, Milica Božović (Serbian Film Association) and Miljana Jovović (Materriya Development Center), sum it up perfectly:

“After years of rapid growth and booming progress, the world has faced a shift in many areas, from technology adoption, the rise of new tech to changing business models, change in audience habits, and the rise of the generation of digital natives We’ve sailed off the map of the familiar, into uncharted waters where the landmarks are plenty, but each of us has to take a breather from the usual goals to rediscover a unique direction and recalibrate our skills and knowledge.”

What does that mean for CGA 2025?

It means we’re setting the stage for a regional creative revolution, right here in Belgrade. This year’s conference is more than just talks and workshops, it’s a place where artists, designers, developers, and visionaries come together to grow, learn, and reimagine what’s possible in film, television, and gaming.
