Michael Seymour

Mike Seymour has a B Sc. focused on CGI and Pure Maths from the University of Sydney where he also did his Masters and he currently has a PhD Fellowship. His research is into using interactive real time photoreal humans in new forms of entertainment and Human Computer Interfaces (HCI). Mike has worked for many years in the visual effects area of the entertainment industry, in R&D and in film production, winning an AFI and being nominated for an Emmy. He has worked as a compositor, vfx supervisor and second unit director on various TV shows here and in the UK. He is also well known for his work as a writer and and co-founder of fxguide.com and fxphd.com.
Mike works to provide an important link between the film and vfx community and the advanced research community who constantly push the limits of technology. Mike has lectured and presented at NAB, ACM SIGGRAPH, CVMP and SMPTE. Has regularly contributed to Epic Games, Warner Bros., Paramount, News Corp, the BBC (radio) and WIRED Magazine (70+ times). Mike is based in Sydney, but has previously worked in Hollywood and London.
Mike does research into the use of photo real, realtime, computer generated people for new forms of interactive engaging entertainment, focused on Virtual Production and cutting edge shared experiences

I work in mad head games for 5 years.I fulfilled several positions, from technical art and animation to organisational roles, and ended up in game design. My specialties are systems and balance.

Aleksandar Djordjevic

Aleksandar Djordjevic is a VFX Supervisor, Flame Artist, VFX Creative Director & Music Artist based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Now a veteran of the industry with roles spanning from his humble beginnings as a a digital artist, followed by moving into post-production and becoming one of the premium Senior Flame Artists, working as a feature film and commercials Visual Effects Supervisor. After long stints at Method Studios New York as the Compositing Supervisor of their New York office, and at the Moving Picture Company New York (subsidiary of Technicolor), as the Head of their 2D department and resident Flame Artist, Aleksandar has joined Smoke & Mirrors Amsterdam (NL) as the Head of 2D & VFX Creative Director in 2017.

Vladimir Todorovic

Vladimir Todorovic is a filmmaker, a new media artist and an educator. His projects have won several awards and screened at numerous festivals, exhibitions, museums and galleries including: Visions du Reel (49th, 46th, 44th), Cinema du Reel (37th), IFFR (42nd, 40th and 39th), Festival du Nouveau Cinema, Busan Film Festival, L’Alternativa, Yamagata (YIDFF), Siggraph, ISEA (2010,2009, 2008, 2006), Ars Electronica, Transmediale, Japan Media Art Festival, Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris, 2010, 2014) The Reina Sofia Museum (Madrid, 2010), House of the World’s Cultures (Berlin, 2005, 2010) and many others.

Roland Reyer

Roland Reyer has started in 1992 as an Application Engineer at Wavefront Technologies GmbH in Germany. He became an industry expert for the entire product portfolio of Wavefront Technologies, later Alias | Wavefront, Alias and finally Autodesk M&E. In his role as an application specialist he tested, showcased and trained Maya from its very first version. With over 25 years product and market experience, Roland now works at Autodesk as a Solutions Engineer for Maya, Shotgun, Mudbox and Motionbuilder throughout Europe.

Alex Horst

Alex’s extensive experience with 3ds Max dates right the way back to high school where he gave his first demo of 3D Studio R3 in 1993. Since then, Alex has worked with a huge amount of customers mainly in the games and design visualization industry. Along the way he has produced real-time projects for Volkswagen, event agencies and medical institutes.
Today Alex focuses on the optimal use of 3ds Max. He supports companies to optimize their creative processes.

Dejan Grba

Dejan Grba is a media artist, author and educator. He has exhibited, curated and/or lectured at venues including Pro Arts Oakland, ADM/NTU Singapore, ISEA Manizales and Hong Kong, SIVA Shanghai, SU Syracuse, ZKM Karlsruhe, IFA Berlin, GfZK Leipzig, Montevideo Amsterdam, MiP Vienna, CCN and Graz. He has published papers in new media art journals worldwide. He is a founding chair of New Media department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade where he teaches Transmedia Research. He teaches Poetics of Digital Art at Digital Art PhD program at University of the Arts in Belgrade.

Woodblock is a studio & production company for animated content. Founded in 2013 by award winning and Emmy nominated directing team Polynoid, Woodblock has its home base in Berlin. We create and produce commercials and independent short films, music videos and game trailers. With our roster of directors, we offer a broad range of unique styles and techniques.

Sava Zivkovic

Sava Zivkovic is a Director and CG artist based in Belgrade, Serbia. Born in 1989, he graduated from the Belgrade University of Arts in the department of Interior and Furniture design in 2012. Having developed a strong passion for film and animation, he decides to take on this career path and focuses on motion graphics, architectural animation and all things CG. He has a strong belief in devoting time to personal projects, has received several awards and recognitions from the CG industry and has also given back to the industry by publishing some of his personal tutorials.
In late 2017 he started his directing career at Axis Animation and continues the collaboration with Glasgow based studio, working on AAA game cinematics as well as never ending development of personal IP’s.
