Dusica Calic

Dusica is an experienced Texture Artist working in the video game industy, currently employed at Mad Head Games. In her career, she had the opportunity to work both on stylised and realistic art style. That includes creating textures for characters, props and environment.

Luis Cataldi

Luis Cataldi has been working in the computer graphics industry for over 20 years in various roles including character TD, animator, lighter, environment artist, VFX TD and art director. His work has appeared in television, music videos, theme parks rides, animated feature films such as “Robots” and “Ice Age II” and AAA video games. In 2005, Luis was one of the founding members of Kaos Studios in NYC as the art director. In the role, he built an art team to deliver “Frontlines: Fuel of War” and “Homefront.” In the late 1990’s Luis became an adjunct professor at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and later moved into the full-time role as professor and Department Chair of Game Development and Interactive Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Luis joined Epic Games in 2014 to help launch Unreal Engine 4 and build an education department. In 2021 he made a shift to the Quixel team so that he could evangelize the Megascans library and Quixel Ecosystem to the world.

Mark Flanagan

Mark started his professional life as an architect in Ireland, in the last Millenium. His interest in art and technology led him on a winding career path. Returning to study animation, he moved to the UK to work with Codemasters games. A move to Australia led from a role as a Technical Art Manager with Transmission Games, then becoming a lecturer in Melbourne’s leading universities including RMIT, Kangan, NMT, and Victoria University. A meeting at GDC inspired him to become an industry trainer. In recent years he has contributed materials to Pixar’s RenderMan group and Pluralsight. He moved to Vancouver as a trainer with DNeg, on projects such as Bladerunner 2049. Then back to the UK for a similar role in ILM, on projects including Star Wars and Marvel Franchises. His Education Partner Manager role at Epic allows him to bring together his previous experience in empowering educators to prepare their students for the future of interactive media.

Miljana Jovović

Miljana graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, but her passion for creative processes naturally led her to the animation and visual effects industry. With her 10-year long experience in this field, Miljana helped establish the biggest computer graphics school in the region having 200 students enroll in the VFX and Gaming courses per year. She is the co-founder of CGA Belgrade conference with the mission of bringing the international and Serbian VFX and Gaming industries together for education and collaboration.

Branislav Pavlovic

3D artist based in Sabac. I started my career in mobile gaming industry. Few years ago, I joined in Ubisoft Belgrade as Level/Environment Artist. Worked on several AAA titles such as Ghost Recon Breakpoint and some unanaunced project. My passion is creating assets for video games especially weapons. I was lucky enough to work on that position and I have been hooked since than. Also I am learning photogrammetry and continuously willing to fill my knowledge with latest and greatest stuff that are incoming.

Tom Box

After co-founding Blue Zoo over 18 years ago, Tom continues to be a driving force throughout the company. Tom works as an executive creative within the commercials & games team, manages Blue Zoo’s AnimDojo online training initiative and also runs the studio’s short films programme.

Sava Zivkovic

Sava Zivkovic is a Director and CG artist based in Belgrade, Serbia. Born in 1989, he graduated from the Belgrade University of Arts in the department of Interior and Furniture design in 2012. Having developed a strong passion for film and animation, he decides to take on this career path and focuses on motion graphics, architectural animation and all things CG. He has a strong belief in devoting time to personal projects, has received several awards and recognitions from the CG industry and has also given back to the industry by publishing some of his personal tutorials.
In late 2017 he started his directing career at Axis Animation and continues the collaboration with Glasgow based studio, working on AAA game cinematics as well as never ending development of personal IP’s.

Andrew Brassington

I have been at Escape Studios for 6 years and developed a number of courses and run a series of University mentoring projects. Prior to that I worked as part of a directing team making music videos.

Aleksandra Jovanic

Aleksandra Jovanić holds a PhD in Digital Arts and BSc in Computer Sciences. In her artistic practice she mainly focuses on interactive art, art games and generative art. Her recent works explore nonlinear narratives and use of computer games logic and rules in the context of art. As an assistant professor, she currently teaches at all three levels of study, at the undergraduate program of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, master studies of the Faculty of Applied Arts and art doctoral studies at the University of Arts in Belgrade. As a part of web development teams and solo, she worked successfully on the development of complex internet projects for the esteemed clients, mainly in the field of culture and arts. She is also actively designing for movies – title sequences and graphic design.
